CareAdvantage Members Will Receive New Benefits Starting January 1, 2025

Since 2006, CareAdvantage has provided an excellent health plan for patients with both Medicare and Medi-Cal. It continues to improve every year as we add new benefits. In 2025, members will receive:

  • A personal medical alert device that allows them to summon emergency help with the press of a button.
  • A transportation benefit included in the Fitness Membership Program — 12 one-way rides (6 round-trip rides) per month to the YMCA and back home.
  • An increased over-the-counter (OTC) benefit — $95 per quarter, with any unused funds rolling over to the next quarter, provided they’re used by the end of the year.

Plus CareAdvantage features:

  • Enhanced benefits for vision care, emergency care and more.
  • Tailored health care services to meet the needs of dually eligible beneficiaries.
  • Integrated care coordination aligned with the State’s CalAIM initiative and Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) strategy.

Encourage your patients with CareAdvantage to use their new benefits and your dual eligible HPSM patients to join CareAdvantage.
