It’s Not Too Late to Get the Flu Vaccine

It’s the holiday season and flu season. This is a great time to give yourself the gift of good health! While it’s best that everyone over six months of age gets the flu vaccine by the end of October, getting it now can still help you stay healthy.  

The flu vaccine lowers your chance of catching the flu by as much as 60%. You don’t want to miss celebrating with family and friends because you’re sick in bed! And you don’t want to spread the flu to the people you care about!

Getting the flu vaccine is easy!

  • Members between six months and 18 years old need an appointment with their primary care provider (PCP). 
  • Members who are 19 years or older can either make an appointment with their PCP or local pharmacy.

Be sure to bring your HPSM member ID card to your appointment.
