Important Reminder: HPSM Covers Doula Services

Doula services are covered for HPSM Medi-Cal, CareAdvantage and HealthWorx members during pregnancy, birth (including still birth), abortion and miscarriage (pregnancy loss). 

Doulas provide:

  • Emotional and physical support to patients. 
  • Online and in-person visits.
  • Up to eight total prenatal and postpartum visits.
