We were thrilled to welcome 375 of our CareAdvantage and dual eligible members (along with many of their family members) in person at our annual All Aboard CareAdvantage Wellness Event. Held for the first time at the South San Francisco Conference Center on Saturday, October 19th, this event reflects our commitment to educating our members about their CareAdvantage benefits and connecting them with valuable support services. We also aimed to demonstrate to our dually eligible Medi-Cal members how joining CareAdvantage can improve their healthcare experience.
Event highlights included:
- CareAdvantage benefit presentations by our licensed Medicare Specialists in both English and Spanish.
- Tables hosted by various HPSM departments. Our dedicated staff provided members with information on accessing their healthcare benefits — from mental health and integrated care management to dental — and connected them with valuable support services.
- Representation from some of our:
- Provider groups such as North East Medical Services (NEMS) and Ravenswood Family Health Center.
- CareAdvantage vendors such as Wider Circle, NationsBenefits, Dentistry.One and Upward Health.
- Community partners such as Aging and Adult Services, the San Mateo County Human Services Agency and San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS).
- Gift bags for all members and a photo booth for attendees to commemorate the event.
Effective February 1, 2025, qualified dual-eligible HPSM Medi-Cal members will be automatically enrolled in Careadvantage. Learn more.
