In an effort to cut down wait times for responses to correction status requests, Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) providers can use the portal! HPSM’s provider portal is a resource to support contracted network providers in accessing information in a timely fashion, whenever they need it. As a reminder, the timeliness requirement for completion of the correction request is 14 calendar days.

Providers may submit a correction request when they need to modify a previously submitted prior authorization request that has already been processed. Providers may submit a correction request when they need to add modifiers or codes or they want to make changes in dates of service to an approved, reviewed prior authorization.
