Individuals who do not have health insurance through an employer or through an
individual insurance plan, may be eligible to receive health benefits through a
program offered by the Health Plan of San Mateo.
Eligibility criteria for most HPSM programs is determined by state
and locally funded health insurance and coverage programs.
Residency in San Mateo County is required for most HPSM programs.
