CareAdvantage Coverage Problem Overview
Does one of these situations with your drug benefit affect you?
The drug you need is not on the list of covered drugs (formulary).
The rules for coverage of certain drugs are not right for you, or have negative effects. For example:
- You have problems with quantity limits on your prescriptions.
- You are required to try a different drug before you are covered for a drug you want (step therapy).
- You have to get pre-approval from CareAdvantage to cover a particular drug.
- You have to use a generic version of a drug instead of the brand version.
