Factors to Consider
What is important to you in your search for a doctor?
- Your Language: Would you feel more comfortable speaking with a doctor in your primary language?
- Your Gender: Would you feel more comfortable speaking with a doctor who is your same gender?
- Location: How far are you comfortable travelling to see a doctor?
- Doctor Age: How would you feel seeing a doctor who is much younger or older than you? Could you lose or gain respect due to an age difference?
- Doctor Education: Does it matter to you where your doctor was educated?
At HPSM, we take great pride in the quality of our participating doctors and health care facilities.
We’re confident you’ll find a doctor that suits your needs with one of our providers.
If you’re a new HPSM member, try to choose a primary care doctor in the first month after you join.
It’s best to find a doctor before you need one. You may want to ask questions of doctors on our list before making your PCP decision.
