The Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) is governed by the San Mateo Health Commission, which consists of eleven commissioners appointed by the
County Board of Supervisors. The Commission sets policies and oversees HPSM’s fiscal and operational activities. It convenes on the
second Wednesday of every month in meetings that are open to the public.
